My areas of interest/expertise are the practical applications of kata, karate history, anthropological forces shaping its development and philosophy.
I am the owner and director of the Ryukyu Kodokan Dojo. I have been a student of the martial arts for over thirty five years.
I hold Yudansha grades in Okinawan Shorin Ryu karate and Koryu Uchinadi Kenpo Jutsu and a teaching license in Shorin Ryu.
