http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0275773/ Ok, So heres the story... there are 666 portals on the planet earth that link us to the otherworld. And portal number 444 is located in a forest in a rural part of Japan. Prisoner KSC2-303 has just escaped prison with a partner. and just happens to make his way to that same forest. KSC2-303 's partner is linked somehow with the Yakuza. They meet up with the Yakuza near the forest and discover that they have a girl with them. KSC2-303 and the character only known as "The Girl" escape to the forest, only to discover that it's crawling with zombies. Not the slow typical zombies either, these ones are pretty fast and know how to shoot guns, pretty smart for a zombie.
Long story short, KSC2-303 and "The Girl" are caught in an eternal time warp, what happens in the movie has happened before, but the last time it was in feudal Japan. The leader of the Yakuza group known only as "The Man" is KSC2-303's arch rival and they battle repeatedly throughout time. Theres a nice little twist at the end, but if you're reading this your not really interested in the story, are you? No, you are here for Samurai -Zombie action! And boy is there lots of it.
I should start by saying this movie is not for kids. The only other movies I have ever seen with this much blood is Evil Dead 1 and 2. Its starts off pretty slow, few zombies at a time, the Yakuza have to contend with them as well. But soon KSC2-303 starts to remember who he is. He aquires a katana and a trenchcoat and proceeds to slice every zombie in his path into tiny little pieces. There are a lot of places in the movie where the action slows down, but it all comes to a climax when KSC2-303 and "The Man" finally square off.
So, will you like this movie. If swords, guns and zombies sounds like fun, you will probably like this movie. If your reading this scratching your head right now, then you should probably pass on this one. Theres not really any middle ground here, its fan-boy science fiction. If thats right up your ally, then you should definately check out:
