How Do I Get Started?

First step is to pick a good martial arts school.  You can go to http://www.martialarts-instruction.com and click on consumer guide to get a non-biased report on choosing a martial arts school for yourself or your child.  Remember when you choose a school you are also choosing a style and an instructor and each one has to be evaluated.  Next you need to make a commitment to at least try it out for 3 months.  It takes the body and mind time to adjust.  Most people that make it 3 months get all the benefits we talked about.

Decide that you are going to make it at least two times a week.  And practice once before each class.  Martial arts can and will change your life if you let it.  Why not give it a try?  Who knows by this time next year you might be a black belt!
